Back Home Table Football

Cafe Kick and Bar Kick are the only places in London where table football is more than just a decoration or a feature.
Without taking the fun of the game away, we take table football quite seriously!
Our tables are original French Bonzini tables with beech wood, cast iron figurines and the proper World Cup balls.
They work with tokens from the bar for 80p per game.

C A F E   K I C K   has three tablefootball tables to play on.
For table reservations call 02078378077.

B A R   K I C K   has ten tables to play on both floors, which is perfect for private tournaments.
For more information and reservations call 02077398700 or send us an e-mail.

When you are as hooked as us by tablefootball, it will be a good idea to become a member of the Kick Babyfoot Association.
This Association is based at Bar Kick, organizes Tournaments, travels to other Tournaments (ie the Baby-foot World Cup in Paris) and meets every thursday at Bar Kick. Just come down and have a look, you might see the best players, you've ever seen playing.

Usually it's winners stays on. Which means that if all tables are taken, you will need to play against the winner of that table. There are different rules and it is advisable to ask your opponents first which rules they play.

World Cup Rules
To start the game, you toss a coin or hold one ball behind your back or the table and let the opponent guess which hand the ball is in.
The new ball is always given to the team who lost the last ball.
If the ball leaves the table or goes dead it goes to the nearest defender.
Fair play and there must not be any banging of the tables, bars etc to distract the opponent.

The French Bar Rules
These are very complicated and we only mention a few parts of it now:
To start the game, the ball usually gets thrown between the middle and should touch both ends of the table and both teams before the game can start.
The new ball is always given to the team who lost the last ball.
If the ball leaves the table or goes dead it goes to the nearest defender.
demi= you can't score from midfield. If a goal is scored from the midfield, the next person to score gets two points
gamelle = when the ball enters the goal and comes out again. it counts as a good goal.
rateau = the passing of the ball from the midfield to the striker is interrupted by the opponent and doesn't touch the striker > the ball goes back to the midfield

No Rules can be fun too, but make sure everybody agrees to it!
